Jim’s Amazing Bread is made with only six all-natural ingredients, and you can easily pronounce all of them: whole cell wheat, water, honey, flax, yeast and salt.
No artificial chemicals, preservatives, sweeteners or other additives are used.

Great question! Whole cell wheat is what makes Jim’s Amazing Bread so special.
Conventional breads are made with flour that’s been so pulverized during a modern industrial milling process that the wheat cells have broken, releasing proteins (i.e. glutenin and gliadin) that become gluten when mixed with water.
In contrast, Jim’s Amazing Bread uses whole cell wheat sourced from Our Father’s Foods. Using a patented milling process, they gently crush the wheat, leaving the wheat cells intact (hence, “whole cell”) and thereby NOT releasing the proteins that would otherwise form gluten during the breadmaking process. This is why Jim’s Amazing Bread is easier to digest than conventional breads and avoids many of the other health issues related to gluten.*
If you were to see it before it’s mixed with our other five ingredients that go into Jim’s Amazing Bread, the whole cell wheat would resemble more of a wheat meal than a wheat flour because it’s much thicker and chunkier from being gently crushed rather than pulverized.

The answer is yes and no. Yes, the gluten in the bread itself is inactive. Yet, it is not an entirely gluten-free product.
But, because of our use of whole-cell wheat, Jim’s Amazing Bread features a radically decreased amount of gluten compared to conventional bread.

Yes and no.
While the wheat and flax are raised according to organic standards, they are not officially organic because the farmers who raised them do not want to pay the annual fee that the government requires to certify the organic label.

The only sweetener we use in Jim’s Amazing Bread is honey.
